¾ c + 1 tbsp. water
Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron.
Whisk together the flour, flax, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Stir in the oil and water, mixing until the batter is just well combined. Do not over mix.
If you don't have a nonstick waffle iron, spritz with nonstick spray. Ladle approximately ¼ of the batter and close. Cook for approximately 5 minutes, until the waffle is golden brown and cooked through. My waffle iron has an indicator light, but I let it go an additional 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining batter.
