Ten Minute TVP Tacos

Ingredients
  • ¾ c broth (I used no-beef)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • scant 2 tbsp soy sauce (or GF/soy free substitute)
  • scant 2 tbsp liquid smoke (to taste)
  • 2 – 4 tbsp taco seasoning (based on tasted, I always use 4)
  • 1 c Bob's Red Mill TVP
  • 8 taco shells, hard or soft
  • Favorite taco toppings
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven and cook shells according to package instructions.
  2. Combine broth through seasoning and microwave for 90 seconds (or heat on the stove until hot)
  3. Stir in TVP, cover, and let rest for 5 minutes, until liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Divide TVP taco meat between shells and top as desired
