Oven Roasted Turnip Fries

Ingredients
  • 2 medium-sized turnips, peeled and cut into french fry sized sticks
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss the turnips with olive oil and add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
  3. Spread the turnip sticks in a single layer on the pan.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and spritz with nonstick spray. Switch your oven to broil and return the fries to the oven for 5 - 10 minutes, watching to make sure they don't burn.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
