2 medium-sized turnips, peeled and cut into french fry sized sticks
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
In a bowl, toss the turnips with olive oil and add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
Spread the turnip sticks in a single layer on the pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and spritz with nonstick spray. Switch your oven to broil and return the fries to the oven for 5 - 10 minutes, watching to make sure they don't burn.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
