Is my age showing? I constantly feel like I discover new things that make me feel old (for the record, 26). Waking up today after going to a concert last night and not getting home until 2 am? Old. So old. Not because I slept in until noon (because isn’t that such a 17 year old thing to do?) but because I feel SO bad about sleeping in until noon. And my feet hurt from standing in one place for hours. Ironically, seeing the band that’s been my favorite since high school made me feel so incredibly young last night. Like I’m gonna stay 18 forever.
My friends know that I swear by a glass of chocolate milk the morning after a rough night, but I wanted something more refreshing today. We’re having people over tomorrow so I needed something light and refreshing to motivate me to get out and mow the lawn instead of just sitting on the couch catching up on Big Brother.
(Anyone else see a creepy face in the glass in the picture above???) Tea and milk is a pairing that’s gone together for basically forever, so why not add chocolate milk to tea? This is a little bit of a not-recipe, because do two ingredients ever really make a recipe? Ehh, not really. But consider this
permission a demand to try chocolate milk in your tea. It’s definitely making me feel a little younger 😉
